Boat Rocker Appoints First CFO

Boat Rocker Media has named Shannon Valliant to the newly created position of chief financial officer.

Valliant will be reporting directly to John Young, Boat Rocker Media’s CEO. Her responsibilities include financial administration and management, financial and operational planning and corporate development support, as well as investor relations. Valliant’s remit covers the global entertainment company and its divisions Boat Rocker Studios, Boat Rocker Rights, Boat Rocker Brands and Boat Rocker Ventures. She comes to the company from Rogers Communications, where Valliant held executive operations and strategy roles in the consumer and enterprise business units.

“Shannon’s extensive experience and expertise as a senior financial executive come at a perfect time in Boat Rocker’s continued strategic growth,” said Young.
