Corus Announces Management Restructure

TORONTO: Corus Entertainment has unveiled changes to its senior leadership team, including the elevation of Doug Murphy to executive VP and COO and the appointment of Colin Bohm as VP of television and head of kids.

Murphy, previously executive VP and president of Corus Television, now oversees all television and radio activities at the Canadian company, reporting to John Cassaday, Corus’s president and CEO. In addition, Scott Dyer has become executive VP of strategic planning and CTO.

Bohm at Corus Kids is one of a number of divisional heads announced today. The others include John MacDonald as VP of television and head of Corus women and family; and Maria Hale as VP of television and head of Corus content distribution and pay TV. Susan Schaefer has been named VP and head of brands, television and radio; Bill Knight VP of television and head of business development and planning; and Helen Lebeau as VP of television, production and broadcast operations.

"As our business evolves, we continue to adapt and refine our structure," said Cassaday. "These changes capitalize on our strengths and streamline decision-making across our television and radio businesses, as we prepare for the integration of our new assets, and grow the Corus brand in Canada and internationally."
