Turner Hires for Licensing Division in Asia Pacific

HONG KONG: Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific has appointed Melissa Tinker to serve as VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE).

CNE has been expanding its business across the region, including branded learning centers and themed destinations in addition to traditional categories such as toys, apparel, home entertainment, publishing and lifestyle. Tinker reports to Sunny Saha, the senior VP and managing director of entertainment networks at Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific.

Tinker comes to the role after having spent six years at Chorion, where she was the senior VP of licensing. Prior to Chorion, Tinker was a business manager at Haven Licensing.

Saha commented, “Melissa is joining the CNE team at a time of unprecedented growth for our business in Asia. With Melissa’s proven track record within the industry, CNE will be taken to even greater heights as she identifies innovative partnerships that create more opportunities for brand engagement.”
