CBSSI Content Available on Mobile SVOD in Japan

LOS ANGELES: CBS Studios International has entered a deal with Japan’s Avex Broadcasting & Communications to deliver programming such as NCIS and 90210 to the d Market Video Store subscription on-demand video service for mobile devices.

The multi-year, non-exclusive agreement will see CBS content available on Avex’s SVOD service available to DOCOMO mobile subscribers for smartphones and tablets. The deal includes the current seasons of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and 90210, and full seasons of older shows such as Star Trek, Star Trek: Enterprise, Numb3rs, Medium and The 4400.
