SINGAPORE: StarHub TV customers are gaining access to their subscription plan directly across multiple screens through the new value-added service TV Anywhere.

The Internet TV platform starhubtv.com, currently in its beta phase, will deliver cable customers access to up to 12 channels, depending on their subscription plan. More than 600 hours of content will be available from the on-demand store along with a full TV guide. A handful of local content, including LionsXII and S.League matches, will be available free of charge. Cable customers who have the UEFA Euro 2012 Pack can watch all 31 matches live on starhubtv.com. Those who miss the live coverage can watch past matches on the catch-up service. TV Anywhere delivers customers access to cable channels across Internet-enabled PC, Mac, iPad or tablet devices with their current subscription plan.

“The increase in ownership of multiple personal devices among Singaporeans and the demand for entertainment content on the go gives us the opportunity to extend our TV offering for an anytime, anywhere experience,” said Iris Wee, the VP of home solutions and content at StarHub. As the platform is still in its beta phase, we would like to assure customers that we are working with our content partners to have more rights cleared for delivery over the Internet as soon as possible. We hope to triple the number of channels available by the end of this year.”
