MediaCorp Scores Confederations Cup

SINGAPORE: Free-to-air broadcaster MediaCorp has shored up the rights to all matches for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, the international soccer competition that kicks off in Brazil next weekend.

In addition to coverage on its Channel 5, HD5 and Channel 8 networks, MediaCorp will deliver all 16 games, live and catch up, on its online platform Toggle. The competition involves Japan, Nigeria, Uruguay, Mexico, Tahiti, Italy, Spain and Brazil and it begins on Saturday, June 16. Matches will take place in six of the twelve stadiums hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
