In-Demand: Korean Content

The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) is a governmental agency that promotes Korean content domestically and internationally, providing support and funding to its creative content companies.

There is a broad selection of South Korean content on offer at the digital Korea Pavilion at MIPTV, some of which you can check out at the K-Format Showcase on April 4 in Audi A, Palais des Festivals. The KOCCA Lounge is located in the Lerins Lounge at Riviera 8. In association with KOCCA, World Screen is putting the spotlight on just some of the titles that will be showcased: KBS’s Sell Your Haunted House, MBC’s Bloody Game, SBS’s Guardians of the Ecosystem, CJ ENM’s Mama the Idol, Something Special’s Smashed Hits and NEXTKEY Mediaworks’ Run Out.

Sell Your Haunted House

Description: (Drama, 16×70 min.) An exorcist-real estate agent and a fraud team up to “clean up” the estate. The teamwork gradually leads them to one mystery.
Pitch Perfect: Though the genre itself is an exorcism, Sell Your Haunted House keeps its optimal balance between comic and thriller. Plus, each episode depicts social issues by highlighting the stories of the ghosts, who used to be underdogs in their former lives.

Bloody Game

It is a show featuring incredible performances by pop idols you could only dream of seeing together. And the fact that they are mothers makes their story incredibly heartwarming and relevant.
