GEM to Air Nippon’s Music Day Event Live in Asia

Entertainment channel GEM is slated to broadcast Nippon TV’s The Music Day event live across Asia on Saturday, July 1.

As part of the Tokyo event, GEM will air a performance by singer/actor Dean Fujioka live from Singapore. The channel is offering fans the opportunity to win tickets to the performance and attend an exclusive meet-and-greet session.

Hosted by Sho Sakurai, The Music Day is slated for broadcast from 4:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. Other performances will include AKB48, Gen Hoshino, Ken Hirai, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Sekai No Owari, Perfume and Yuzu, as well as Johnny’s artists Tokio, KinKi Kids, Arashi, Kanjani Eight and Kame to Yamapi.
