FremantleMedia Names China CEO

SINGAPORE: Vivian Yin is joining FremantleMedia as CEO of its business in China, based in Shanghai, following several years at Star China.

Yin was most recently chief representative and VP of production at Star China. At FremantleMedia, she will look to further expand the company's activities in China, reporting to Paul O’Hanlon, the managing director of FremantleMedia Asia. She succeeds Yu Le, who is leaving the company.

“FremantleMedia’s China business is a critical part of our strategic growth in the region," O'Hanlon said. "Vivian’s strong sense of content creation and hands on production expertise, plus her experience as a highly regarded executive at Star China, will be a fantastic asset as we step forward with our plans in China.”

Yin added, “I am extremely honored to be joining the senior team of FremantleMedia Asia, and adding my experience to drive exciting new growth plans in China. I look forward to working on the raft of projects already in the pipeline, and broadening our business as we continue to diversify.”
