Four New Execs Join Celestial Tiger Entertainment

HONG KONG: Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) has appointed four new executives to fill roles in advertising sales, content distribution, business development and marketing.

Nadia Hwang has joined the company as VP of advertising sales. She will be charged with managing the advertising business across the company's network of channels in Asia. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a dozen years handling advertising sales at Turner International Asia Pacific.

Annie Yim has been named director of content sales and distribution. Her duties include licensing Lionsgate's television programming and movies in Greater China and South Korea. She previously served as the director of distribution for Celestial Pictures.

Simon Ng has become CTE's director of corporate finance and business development. He is responsible for developing and evaluating new business initiatives and supporting the company's strategic and financial planning. He most recently was the assistant VP for Barclays' consumer and retail investment banking division in Hong Kong.

Shirley Cheong has been hired as director of marketing for CTE's channel brands KIX and Thrill. She is expected to develop and implement marketing campaigns to enhance the channel brands and their viewership. Prior to this appointment, she was the senior marketing manager for Disney Channels in Southeast Asia.

Both Yim and Ng will work under Ed Stansfield, the company's CFO and senior VP of business development. Hwang and Cheong will respectively report to Todd Miller, CEO, and Andy Chang, senior VP of marketing.
