Ex-Sony Asia Chief Joins Celestial Tiger Entertainment

HONG KONG: Celestial Tiger Entertainment has hired Todd Miller, who spent 17 years working at Sony Pictures Television in Asia, to serve as its president and COO.

Celestial Tiger Entertainment was launched last month by Celestial Pictures, Saban Capital Group and Lionsgate. Million has been tapped to lead the company and drive its core businesses of pay-TV channels, content creation and distribution. Miller was most recently the executive VP of networks for the Asia Pacific at Sony Pictures Television. He also previously led Sony’s licensing and local production businesses in the region as managing director for Asia.

Based in the Hong Kong headquarters, Miller will lead a senior management team that includes Ed Stansfield, the chief financial officer and senior VP of business development; Ofanny Choi, who has been promoted to executive VP of TV networks; Wendy Reeds, executive VP of content sales and distribution; Andy Chang, the senior VP of marketing; and Jef Lim, the head of programming and production.
