NBCUniversal International Networks (NBCUIN) channels DreamWorks and E! Entertainment Television are now available on LG U+ in South Korea.

DreamWorks is a 24-hour HD network targeting kids and family audiences that brings the studio’s beloved movie heroes to the small screen to star in their own TV shows. E! is the home of all things pop culture. Both networks will be offered in English on LG U+, with subtitles available in the local language.

The new carriage deal with LG U+, a cable telecommunications operator and parent company of LG Electronics, marks NBCUIN’s third such agreement in South Korea. The company has previously inked deals with KT Corporation and SK Broadband.

Christine Fellowes, managing director of NBCUIN in the Asia Pacific, said: “We continue to extend NBCUIN’s reach through our partners at LG U+, bringing even more Korean households the best of Hollywood pop culture on E!, and well-loved characters from DreamWorks’ animated series. We are excited to enhance the entertainment experience of LG U+’s subscribers with E! and DreamWorks’ compelling range of original and award-winning content.”
