CASBAA Expands Speaker Lineup

HONG KONG: The speaker lineup for this year’s CASBAA Convention, taking place October 29 to November 1 in Hong Kong, includes Turner’s Gerhard Zeiler, FOXTEL’s Richard Freudenstein, Astro’s Rohana Rozhan and Tata Sky’s Harit Nagpal.

"The Convention continues to attract the most respected and influential speakers from the multichannel TV industry, solidifying its position as one of the most important forums taking place anywhere in the world," said Simon Twiston Davies, the CEO of CASBAA.

On the agenda—themed "18 Reasons Why"—are Ben Silverman, founder and chairman of Electus; Richard Freudenstein, the CEO of Foxtel; Shuichi Mori, the president and CEO of J:COM; Gerhard Zeiler, the president of Turner Broadcasting System International; Rohana Rozhan, the CEO of ASTRO; and Harit Nagpal, the managing director and CEO of Tata Sky.

The lineup of panels, meanwhile, include "Great Ad Brands at Work with Great Channel Brands," "Socialising TV in Asia" and "How to Love Your Regulator."
