MUMBAI: The Zeefamily.tv app, which gives users access to Bollywood content from the ZEE suite of TV channels, has been released for the Asia Pacific.

The service is now available in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Fans of Indian productions can access the app through any web browser and on devices including iOS, Android smart phones, tablets and Kindle Fire Tabs. The app will contain more than 25 channels from Indian media company ZEE, devoted to general entertainment, movies, news and regional content. The app is already available in the U.S.

“Zeefamily.tv app has received a wonderful traction in the U.S. market since its launch,” said Sushruta Samanta, the business head for the Asia Pacific. “The catch-up feature and the VOD option have found strong preference within our viewers. We are expecting a similar trend in the widely distributed diaspora population within the Asia Pacific region.”
