BBC Studios Adds to Japan-Focused Sales Team

BBC Studios has made two new hires to the Northeast Asia team: Danica Lee and Jihyun Lee.

Danica Lee and Jihyun Lee recently joined the newly consolidated team in Seoul with a special focus on the Japanese market. Danica Lee takes up the role of senior sales manager for Japan, joining from Kakao, where she was general manager of the business team. Jihyun Lee joins BBC Studios as the sales executive for Japan. Her previous roles include working for CJ ENM and MBC.

Geo Lee, general manager for BBC Studios Northeast Asia, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Danica and Jihyun to the team. They both come with a wealth of expertise and experience that will prove vital in servicing our Japan business and clients.”

Danica Lee commented: “I am looking forward to working with our established clients, including Hulu and NHK, as well as building strong new relationships in the region.”

Jihyun Lee added: “We both share a passion for quality content and Japanese culture, so we welcome combining these as we focus on the Japanese market.”
