Anger Management Bound for India

MUMBAI: Comedy Central India has acquired the Charlie Sheen comedy Anger Management from Lionsgate International Television.

The series, which airs on TNT in the U.S., has sold into such territories as Canada, Latin America, the U.K., Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand, Germany, Benelux, Poland, Spain and South Africa.

Ferzad Palia, the senior VP and general manager for English entertainment at Viacom 18 Media, said, "On our first anniversary of Comedy Central in India we’re delighted to be bringing one of the most watched and talked about shows in the world, Anger Management, to our Indian audiences.
