Canal+ Snaps Up Premier League Rights in Vietnam

Canal+ Group, through its subsidiary K+, has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to the Premier League in Vietnam for the next three seasons.

Having picked up the rights for the English championship for the 2019 to 2022 seasons, K+ will offer the entire competition (380 matches per season) on the K+ channels. These channels, which are specifically produced by Canal+ Group for Vietnam, are distributed on all broadcasting platforms— including via the K+ satellite package and OTT—and on cable and IP TV networks in partnership with local operators. Canal+ Group subscribers in Vietnam will have access to the Premier League matches in HD starting in August.

Through this agreement, Canal+ Group adds the Premier League to a sports roster in Vietnam that also includes the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, the ATP World Tour and PGA Golf. Outside of sports, the K+ channels offer Asian films and series.
