The Mediapro Studio Outlines Scripted & Unscripted Slate

The Mediapro Studio is attending MIPCOM with a lineup spanning fiction, factual and formats.

This includes Yakarta, created by Diego San José, centering on a young badminton player and her coach, a former Olympic player.

Raza Brava “uses the passion for Chile’s Colo-Colo football club as a starting point to explore deeper themes such as social identity, loyalty and human contradictions,” says Javier Esteban, director of international. It is produced by DeCulto in co-production with Atómica Group, Wild Sheep Content and The Mediapro Studio.

El Resto Bien (So Far So Good), created and co-directed by Daniel Burman, portrays a man’s crisis as he turns 50. It is an original series for flow in co-production with Cimarrón and Oficina Burman.

The fiction slate also features Celeste, created by Diego San José, and Quiet, a thriller created by Lluís Arcarazo.

The Mediapro Studio handles the rights for international productions such as the Icelandic thriller Fusion and The Famous Five, an adaptation of Enid Blyton’s novels.

A variety of formats are available from the distributor as well, including El Conquistador, Futuro imperfecto, El Camping, 400 and Atrápame si puedes.

Other unscripted titles on offer are Williams, a documentary delving into the lives of footballers Iñaki and Nico Williams; Yo sé más que tú, winner of a Premio Ondas; and El intermedio, now in its 20th season.

The Mediapro Studio’s film slate features Welcome to Lapland, The Talent, Wedding Registry and The 47.
