ITVS GE Alum to Head eOne’s EMEA Sales Team

Entertainment One (eOne) has named Dan Gopal, a former ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) distribution exec, as executive VP of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In his newly created role, Gopal will work under Stuart Baxter, the president of eOne Television International. He will lead all EMEA film and television content sales efforts to broadcasters and OTT platforms for free TV, pay TV, SVOD and AVOD. eOne’s EMEA sales team in London and the other European sales operations will report to Gopal.

Before this appointment, Gopal oversaw ITVS GE’s commercial team responsible for all TV, digital and home-entertainment sales for the entire ITV Studios portfolio across EMEA. Earlier in his career, he held commercial and strategy positions within media distribution at The Walt Disney Company before launching and managing Miramax’s EMEA distribution business.
