Endemol Shine Exec Joins Warner Bros. in Australia

SYDNEY: Michael Brooks has been named managing director of Warner Bros. International Television Production in Australia.

Brooks will be responsible for running production operations in Australia. He will be based in Sydney and report to Ronald Goes, the executive VP and head of Warner Bros. International Television Production. Brooks is joining the company from Endemol Shine USA, where he was senior VP of programming and executive producer on many of the company’s franchise series, including MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and The Biggest Loser. Before Endemol Shine, Brooks was the senior VP of programming and development at BBC Worldwide Productions.

International Television Production Australia,” said Goes. “Having worked on some of the most successful franchised series in the world, Michael brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team, and he is the perfect choice to lead our Australian production business in what is a fast-growing territory for us.”
