A+E Networks Names Head of Content Sales for EMEA

NEW YORK/LONDON: A+E Networks has hired Denis Cantin as its VP and head of content sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective early next year.

In his new post, Cantin will be responsible for A+E Networks' London-based EMEA content sales team. He will supervise sales of the company's portfolio in the region. He is going to work under Marielle Zuccarelli, the managing director of international content distribution, and Dean Possenniskie, the managing director for Europe.

Cantin currently serves as the VP of sales for Europe at 20th Century Fox's international television distribution group. He earlier held a number of sales positions within the company. Before that, he worked in sales for the French Ministry of Defence's communications department.

"Denis brings a wealth of experience to his new role, and we're confident he will be a strong asset for our international team," said Zuccarelli.

Possenniskie added: "Denis has a solid track record of building successful partnerships with key broadcasters in the EMEA territories. We're looking forward to working with him, and continuing to deliver top-quality content to our clients."
