ABC Announces Midseason Schedule

ABC’s midseason schedule will see the premieres of an array of titles across genres, including the Scrubs revival and season four of Will Trent.

“Across ABC and its streaming home on Hulu, we have the best shows on television, from acclaimed dramas to standout comedies and unscripted hits,” said Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group. “Our midseason schedule underscores our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional storytelling and engaging content to audiences wherever they choose to watch.”

Will Trent is returning with its fourth season on January 6, with an episode directed by star and executive producer Ramón Rodríguez. The Scrubs revival, starring Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke, is set to debut on February 25.

High Potential will be making its season two midseason return on January 6, followed by the season eight premiere of The Rookie.

The Wednesday night comedies Shifting Gears and Abbott Elementary will make their midseason returns on January 7, followed by Shark Tank.

The Thursday night lineup, making its midseason premiere on January 8, will feature 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey’s Anatomy.

Rounding out the week, Fridays will see the return of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and 20/20 on January 9. Celebrity Jeopardy! All Stars season four will join the Friday schedule on February 27.

On the weekends, NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC will return for select Saturdays beginning January 24. The 22nd season of The Bachelorette will bow on Sunday, March 22.

American Idol will be returning with its 24th season to headline the Monday night schedule on January 26.
