.2Network to Make NATPE Debut, Hires New Staff

COLUMBUS, January 7:
.2Network, a new, nationwide multicast digital broadcast network that will be
launched by the Guardian Enterprise Group (GEG) in February, will appear at
NATPE for the first time this month as an exhibitor.

.2Network is the first
to provide local station affiliates with a uniform, national network platform,
which affords stations a 24/7 option to simply “plug and play” the network onto
their current available and unused digital multicast channel positions, and
receive back immediate non-traditional revenue (NTR) in the form of revenue
sharing.

As it gears up for its
NATPE debut, .2Network has made several new hires. Lee Leddy has been appointed
as the senior VP of network sales. He had previously served a 20-year tenure at
King World Entertainment as the senior VP of sales and programming. Marlynda
Salas Lecate, formerly with Warner Bros., has been tapped as the VP of network
sales, while J. Stuart Stringfellow, previously the president of sales at King
World Productions, has been appointed as network sales consultant.

“Being at the leading
edge of the great changes ahead, in light of the TV broadcast digital
conversion mandated for 2009, makes our debut and presence at NATPE all the
more relevant and exciting,” said .2Network’s CEO, Richard Schilg. “It will
provide station group executives and station GM’s the opportunity to become
better acquainted with what the .2Network can offer them to stay ahead of the
curve.”
