MIAMI: A Spanish-dubbed version of the drama Prison Break is set to premiere on U.S. Hispanic network NBC Universo later this month.

The series, which originally aired for four seasons on FOX, will debut October 20. NBC Universo subscribers will also be able to catch up on episodes in Spanish on the network’s website and on the NBC Universo NOW app, as well as on VOD for participating cable, satellite and telco services.

“NBC Universo is breaking the mold of what viewers are used to seeing on Spanish-language television,” said Bilai Joa Silar, the senior VP of programming and production at NBC Universo. “There is a demand for high quality Spanish-language programming among Latinos, and we are pushing the envelope to bring edgy and provocative entertainment our audience will enjoy.”
