Nickelodeon Latin America has greenlit a sophomore season of the musical series Kally’s Mashup.

Production on season two will kick off at Telefe Studios in Argentina this month. The 45-episode second season will be produced by 360 Powwow and Anders Media. The 75-episode first season premiered in October 2017.

To date, Kally’s Mashup has been acquired by broadcasters in more than 11 countries across the world. A consumer products line inspired by the show is set to launch in the coming months.

“It is incredibly rewarding to see the overwhelming success that Kally’s Mashup has had with our audiences in the region,” commented Tatiana Rodriguez, the senior VP, brand head for kids and family at Nickelodeon Latin America. “Kids have flooded our social media sites with their own renditions of the show’s hugely popular songs, as well as with posts for the cast who have quickly become favorites among Nick’s audience. We look forward to starting production on season two and bringing more twists, turns and ‘mashups’ to fans in Latin America.”

“Few things in my career have been as rewarding as the response we have gotten from our fans throughout season one of Kally’s Mashup,” added Adam Anders, creator and executive producer of the series. “I can’t wait to continue to grow our audience and share all the new music and storylines that will come with season two. This truly has been a labor of love.”

“The success of Kally’s Mashup is a genuine representation of the love, talent and professionalism that all the people involved in the series have contributed,” said Daniel Gutman, the CEO of 360 Powwow. “Now [as] we launch production of season two, and Kally also expands its worldwide journey, it’s time to acknowledge and recognize their performance.  It’s a great honor to be part of this incredible project.”
