Dancing with the Stars Being Adapted in Nepal

BBC Studios has secured a deal for the Dancing with the Stars format in Nepal.

The local production house ANC is on board for the Nepali version, Dancing with the Stars Nepal. It is set to premiere by the end of 2018. ANC will both produce and distribute the 26-episode series in Nepal. With this latest format deal, Dancing with the Stars will have been sold to 57 countries worldwide.

Myleeta Aga, the senior VP and general manager of south and southeast Asia for BBC Studios, commented: “We are very excited to work with new partner ANC Productions and expand our geographical reach. Securing a format deal for Dancing with the Stars in Nepal is testament to the universal appeal of dance and the strength of our world-leading dance entertainment brand. We hope that the Nepali audience will support the new series, and keep dancing.”
