Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) has picked up the docudrama The Great Arab Revolt from Rooftop Content Group.

Discovery Asia has licensed the exclusive TV rights for the historical docudrama for Central and South Asia (excluding China and Japan). Produced by Spica Media Production and directed by Aseel Mansour and Roland May, The Great Arab Revolt presents a historically-based dramatization of the time, place and pivotal events of the revolt.

Jordi van Even, the managing director of Rooftop Content Group, said, “I’m proud to represent The Great Arab Revolt as it’s important to show significant historical events from different perspectives. This great series sheds some light on one of the most significant turning points of the Middle East, laying the foundations for the ideology of Arab Nationalism that has survived to this day. Directors Aseel Mansour and Roland May have delivered a real piece of art with the combination of re-enactments and archive footage and I hope viewers will enjoy the history and heritage of this captivating docuseries.”
