ZDFE Lines Up MIPCOM Highlights

MAINZ: ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) has a range of new series to offer across its four genre divisions, with the slate of ZDFE.junior led by the animated H2O Mermaid Adventures.

The new 52×24-minute H2O Mermaid Adventures takes the original concept of the live-action series H2O Just Add Water to a new level with the animated series. Also part of the ZDFE.junior portfolio are Marcus Level, about a hero who gets drawn into his favorite video game, and Skinner Boys, also known as The Guardians of the Lost Secrets.

There's a number of new dramas for ZDFE as well, including The Team, about an international police unit that hunts trans-border crimes. Tellus is about a group of eco-crime fighters. There's a second season of The Fall as well.

ZDFE.factual has lined up Apocalypse Neanderthal, which takes viewers back 40,000 years ago. The doc Last Secrets of the Third Reich, Season 2 looks over Hitler's recently rediscovered medical records to examine whether he died from suicide or murder. There's the three-parter Ascent of Civilization as well, which traces an inheritance that goes back through the times of the Greeks, the Romans and the Vikings.

From ZDFE.entertainment comes Quiz Champion, a quiz show that sees candidates and celebrities competing in five duels in several different categories.
