TORONTO: Following a successful debut on Canada’s YTV, Survive This has been been given an order for 13 new episodes to be produced by 9 Story Entertainment.
Production on the new season began earlier this month. Created by 9 Story and wilderness survival expert and filmmaker Les Stroud, Survive This is an adventure series that challenges teenagers to push their limits, overcome fears and develop lifelong survival skills. Eight new teen contestants (ranging from ages 14 to 17) have been chosen to participate in new challenges. In addition to YTV, the first season of Survive This has been sold to Cartoon Network (the U.S.), Cartoon Network (Latin America), YLE (Finland), SVT (Sweden), Noga (Israel) and Teleview (Middle East). Discussions with additional international broadcasters are ongoing.
