World Screen Content Trendsetter Awards Presented at MIPCOM

CANNES: DR's Piv Bernth, Foxtel's Ross Crowley, Azteca's Pedro Lascurain and Starz's Carmi Zlotnik received their World Screen Content Trendsetter Awards in partnership with MIPCOM in Cannes today, following the Acquisition Superpanel: What Do Buyers Want? session moderated by Anna Carugati.

"I want to say how thrilled we are to partner with World Screen on the Content Trendsetter Awards," said Laurine Garaude, director of Reed MIDEM's television division, who joined Carugati, World Screen's group editorial director, on stage to present the statuettes to the panelists. "I'd like to thank each one of you. We value your contributions to this industry. You are the heart of the market and it's thanks to your programming decisions that this international market exists and you make audiences around the world watch excellent programming."

This is the third year in a row that Reed MIDEM has partnered with World Screen for the Content Trendsetter Awards, which honor innovative programming executives operating in the international market.
