Whale TV Adds On-Demand Library

Whale TV is bringing on-demand functionality to its free streaming service, Whale TV+, and expanding its availability online.

The service is adding an on-demand library with more than 4,000 hours of content across a range of genres. It launched earlier in the year as a FAST platform, delivering 300-plus channels. Initially accessible on Whale TV, Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV devices, the platform can now be accessed on most internet-connected screens.

“Our goal is to continuously expand the Whale TV+ entertainment offering while driving engagement across all platforms,” said Teresa Lopez, VP of Whale TV+. “The addition of on-demand TV provides our viewers with even more choice. Together with premium channels like Red Bull TV and a growing library of movies and series, Whale TV+ is becoming an even more compelling destination for free entertainment.”
