WE tv Asia Adds to Lineup

NEW YORK: WE tv Asia has acquired the series Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, Braxton Family Values and a new season of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera for fall 2011 and 2012.

The channel is available in Hong Kong on PCCW’s Now TV; in Korea on SkyLife in HD; in Singapore on SingTel’s Mio TV; and in Taiwan on Chunghwa and DishHD.

The 8×1-hour reality series Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? features comedian Joan Rivers moving in with her daughter Melissa, and is to premiere in October.

The 10×1-hour reality series Braxton Family Values features the Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton, her four sisters and their mother, and is to premiere in November.

The 12×1-hour fourth season of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, which will run in January, shows the celebrity wedding and event planner’s talents as he grants the desires of the bride and groom.

“With entertaining, highly watchable personalities, these series proved to be incredibly popular stateside and we’re excited to add them to our diverse slate of programming on WE tv in Asia,” said Harold Gronenthal, the senior VP and general manager of AMC/Sundance Channel Global.
