Virgin1 Picks Up Death Defying Rescues

LONDON, February 15: Virgin Media Television’s entertainment
channel Virgin1 has acquired the documentary series Death Defying Rescues from Darlow Smithson Productions, an IMG Media
company.

The 20×30-minute series will kick off at the end of February
in Virgin1’s prime-time schedule with “Death Decent. The
story focuses on a tandem skydive gone wrong. Other stories explored in the Death
Defying Rescues
series include “Inferno,”
“Runaway Car” and “Deadly Rip
Current. Each episode tells the incredible, true stories of
ordinary people who risked their lives to rescue others.

Amy Barham, the head of acquisitions for Virgin1, said: “We

our viewers. The powerful stories test the limits of human bravery and
