Video Interview: Dynamo, the Magician

NEW YORK: In this video interview, the British magician Dynamo talks about his new show, Dynamo: Magician Impossible, represented by Passion Distribution, and also performs a few mind-blowing tricks for our camera.

The magic community has been buzzing about Dynamo, a 28-year-old magician whose celebrity fan base includes A-listers like Will Smith and Coldplay’s Chris Martin. In his new show, Dynamo: Magician Impossible, the British magician performs a number of jaw-dropping illusions, including a Matrix-style levitation trick and walking across the River Thames. The series premiered on UKTV’s Watch this summer to an average of 1.7 million viewers per episode, according to Passion. The show recently scored a pan-European deal outside the U.K. with Discovery  Networks Europe, in addition to agreements with Seven Network in Australia and France 4.

Dynamo brought his special brand of magic to Cannes last month, as a guest of Passion, and sat down with us to talk about how he got his start in magic and what viewers can expect from the new series.
