Warner Bros.’s Chris Bonney Joins Cineflix

MONTREAL: Chris Bonney is to serve as the CEO of rights for Cineflix Media, joining in February 2012 from a role as the senior VP of sales and acquisitions at Warner Bros. International Television Production.

Bonney will report to Glen Salzman, the CEO of Cineflix Media. Paul Heaney, the president and managing director of Cineflix Rights, continues to oversee the television distribution business. Bonney will be responsible for the company’s overall long-term strategy to maximize the exploitation of the company’s IP on all platforms worldwide.

Prior to joining Warner Bros., Bonney was the managing director of Outright Distribution and a board member of Shed Media.
