Playboy Entertainment Group Restructures Programming Team

LOS ANGELES, January 23: Playboy Entertainment Group has
hired Todd Schwartz as VP of programming for Playboy TV and promoted Michael
Spierer to the position of VP of programming and acquisitions for adult
networks.

Both will report to Bryan Postlethwait, recently upped to
SVP of programming. Schwartz, who previously served as SVP of strategic
development at Branded Media Corporation, will be responsible for the planning,
direction and control of content for Playboy TV and other media platforms.
Spierer, who was promoted from his position as director of programming, will
oversee the content for Playboy’s Spice Digital Networks, among them Club
Jenna, Fresh! and Spice:Xcess.

“Todd and Michael are part of a
newly redesigned programming team for the Playboy Entertainment Group,” said
Postlethwait. “The company is taking an aggressive approach to developing
innovative content in an effort to attract new viewers and to expand the
demographic for both our linear television channels and for emerging platforms
like SVOD and mobile.”
