Will & Grace Reboot Secures Season Two Order from NBC

NBC has picked up a second season of the upcoming Will & Grace reboot ahead of its debut this fall.

Season one has been expanded to 16 episodes that will premiere on Thursday, September 28, at 9 p.m. on NBC. James Burrows, who directed every episode of the original Will & Grace, is on board for the reboot, along with creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who will serve as showrunners, executive producers and writers on the new series. Alex Herschlag, Tracy Poust and Jon Kinnally will also executive produce.

Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally are all reprising their roles. News of the second season was unveiled by NBC’s chairman Bob Greenblatt during the Television Critics Association press tour. Will & Grace is produced by Universal Television.
