Viaplay Added to The Roku Channel in the U.S.

A new multiyear partnership has been signed by Viaplay Group and Roku that makes a broad range of Viaplay’s Nordic content available through Premium Subscriptions on The Roku Channel in the U.S.

Viewers can now add a Viaplay subscription through Premium Subscriptions and access more than 1,500 hours of Viaplay’s series and films and curated third-party content.

In Q4 2021, The Roku Channel has a reach of an estimated 80 million U.S. households.

Shows available on Viaplay through The Roku Channel in the U.S. include the Danish thriller Trom, starring Ulrich Thomsen (The New Pope); the Swedish crime series No Time to Mourn; and the Norwegian drama Exit with Tobias Santelmann (Point Break).
