U.K. Version of The X Factor to Continue Airing on AXS TV

LOS ANGELES: U.S. network AXS TV has inked a multiyear deal to air further seasons of the talent showcase The X Factor UK.

The agreement with FremantleMedia International and Syco Entertainment sees AXS TV remain the U.S. broadcast home for the original version of the international format. The network will air all 32 episodes of the upcoming 13th season, which premieres with a special two-day event on August 28 and 29. Each episode will air in the U.S. 24 hours after their respective U.K. broadcasts.

The X Factor UK is co-produced by Syco Entertainment and Thames TV, part of FremantleMedia UK. It was created by Simon Cowell, who also serves as a judge on the series. The show’s format is owned and created by Syco Entertainment, and co-produced/licensed by FremantleMedia International.
