Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution Pay-TV Exec Expands Remit

LOS ANGELES: Evan Scheffel has been elevated to senior VP of worldwide pay TV and subscription video on demand at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.

Scheffel, who joined the company in 2006, has been serving as the VP of worldwide pay-TV distribution. With the promotion, Scheffel will now work to expand the growth of the company’s SVOD business. He continues his responsibilities for licensing the studio’s film and TV content to pay-TV channels and SVOD services in North America, South America, Spain, Scandinavia, Africa and the Middle East. Scheffel continues to work out of the Los Angeles headquarters, reporting to Gina Brogi, the executive VP of worldwide pay television and subscription video on demand.

Brogi said, “Evan has played a key role in our company’s success in the pay television and SVOD marketplace throughout the world. His creative deal-making ability makes him uniquely qualified to navigate the challenging and exciting times ahead for our business.”
