Tom Lesinski Sets Up Multimedia Production Outfit Energi Entertainment

LOS ANGELES: Tom Lesinski, formerly the president of digital content and distribution at Legendary, has formed his own production company, Energi Entertainment, and has already signed a first-look deal with Legendary Television and Digital Media.

Energi scored a two-year first-look development and production deal with Legendary. The new venture is already attached to several ongoing development projects. The outfit will develop, fund and produce content for digital and TV platforms worldwide, working with Hollywood writers, directors and actors, as well as rising digital personalities. Several titles developed during his time with Legendary will remain with Lesinski in his new role at Energi. The slate is led by Dead Rising at Crackle and the recently sold Kelly and Molly pilot script, as well as new projects, including Alexandra Milchan’s Life Behind Bars, Pet Therapist and the reboot of Syd and Marty Krofft’s Electra Woman & Dyna Girl.

“For the past 10 years, I’ve had a front row seat to the dynamic and ever expanding marketplace for original digital entertainment,” said Lesinski. “I am thrilled to pursue my goal of creating the leading production company in the digital space.”

Lesinski also previously founded Paramount Digital Entertainment, where he was responsible for monetizing the studio's content on digital platforms.
