NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES: The Paley Center for Media has upped Diane Lewis to executive VP of programming and has brought in Maureen Reidy and Maxim Thorne as chief marketing officer and executive VP of development, respectively.

Over the past two and a half decades, Lewis has held a number of leadership posts at the company. In her new role, she will be charged with overseeing all Paley Center programs in New York and Los Angeles, including industry and public initiatives, as well as the company’s educational efforts. "The Paley Center’s robust programming—for the industry, for students and educators, and for the general public—is unique in the caliber of talent we attract and the expertise we bring in curating these conversations," stated Lewis. "I am excited to continue to strengthen the ways that Paley serves all of our diverse constituents, helping them explore media’s ever-deepening influence on our society and culture."

Reidy’s new position will see her becoming responsible for managing all marketing, communications, digital and social media, creative services and commercial revenues. She was recently the CEO of The Argus Group. "I am thrilled to be joining the Paley Center’s outstanding team," said Reidy. "As the convener of the world’s preeminent media forums and the keeper of a true, national treasure—the Paley Archive—the opportunities to expand Paley’s reach and maximize growth, both domestically and internationally, are limitless."

As executive VP of development, Thorne’s duties will include expanding and deepening the Paley Center’s impact and resources. He will supervise all development and fund-raising activities and will cultivate important external alliances in the philanthropic community. In the past Thorne has served as the VP and general counsel of BOS Development. "I’m honored to have the chance to build upon the galvanized base of support the Paley Center already enjoys," remarked Thorne. "We are having new conversations from digitization to content protection, from valuing news to media and democracy, and I greatly look forward to helping the Paley Center grow and expand in the future."

"I am very pleased to welcome Maureen Reidy and Maxim Thorne to The Paley Center for Media and to recognize the role Diane Lewis has played in bringing our programming to international prominence," added Pat Mitchell, the president and CEO of the Paley Center. "As the media landscape continues to change at a lightening pace, the Paley Center, which provides insight and context for both the media industry and media consumers, has never been more vital. The combined expertise of these three executives will be a tremendous asset to our organization and bring the Paley Center to even greater levels of success."
