ION Life, Qubo Stock Up on Programming

WASHINGTON, D.C.: ION Media Networks has acquired around 165 hours of programming to air across its ION Life and Qubo channels.

ION Life has added to its fall lineup At the Table With, a biography series; Room to Grow, about a landscape designer who redesigns outdoor spaces; and Bulging Brides, a show that exposes the struggle of brides-to-be who are trying to lose weight. Also joining the schedule are Makeover Wish, which performs room makeovers for individuals who are truly in need; For Your Home, which provides creative ideas for the indoors and outdoors; and Your House and Home, a home-improvement series that offers straightforward advice. Southern Fried Fitness features Robin Shea as she blends her passion for Southern food with her commitment to health and fitness. Now Eat this with Rocco DiSpirito is led by the celebrity chef as he challenges families and individuals to make over their diets and adopt healthier lifestyles.

For Qubo, the spring lineup includes the animated Anne of Green Gables series as well as I Spy, a picture-riddle book come to life. Dear America & The Royal Diaries presents reenactments of diary entries written by different female authors about historical events. Animorphs is a new series based on the young adult novels that feature teenagers who morph into animals to fight crime. Qubo’s fall lineup will feature Funniest Pets and People, a series of video clips submitted by viewers.
