The Hunger Games to Make U.S. Network Television Premiere on ABC Family

BURBANK: ABC Family is presenting the U.S. network TV premiere of the box-office phenomenon The Hunger Games on October 10.

The first film in a series based on the hit books by Suzanne Collins debuts on the network October 10 at 8 p.m. The channel will offer repeat airings on October 11 and October 12 at 8 p.m.

The Hunger Games stars Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Lenny Kravitz as Cinna, Academy Award nominee Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman and Donald Sutherland as President Snow.
