The CW Sets Up Digital Studio

BURBANK: The CW Network has launched a digital-only studio, dubbed CW Seed, which already has four series in the pipeline.

CW Seed launched with all-new episodes of four web series, including the third season of the comedy Husbands and the premiere episodes of the new digital comedies Backpackers, Gallery Mallory and The P.E.T. Squad Files.

Husbands is now exclusively available on CW Seed. The show is created and executive produced by Brad Bell and Jane Espenson. Backpackers is produced in participation of Canada Media Fund, The CW Television Network and Bell Media. It was created by Jay Bennett, Daniel Dales and Jarrett Sherman. The P.E.T. Squad Files was created by and stars John Dale and Michael Hobert. The animated comedy Gallery Mallory is executive produced by Brad Roth and Mark Feldstein of Stun Creative.

Additional digital series, including LA Rangers, from Hart of Dixie star and Stupid Hype creator and star Wilson Bethel, will launch this fall. Additional premiere dates will be announced at a later time.
