Showtime Bets on More Dice

LOS ANGELES: Showtime has renewed the comedy series Dice for a second season that is due to air in 2017.

Season two of the Fox 21 Television Studios-produced series will dig deeper into the multifaceted life of Andrew Dice Clay. The unemployed comic struggles to be a father, boyfriend and professional gambler as he deals with the effects of his fame. Production on the newest season of the semi-autobiographical series will take place in Los Angeles and Las Vegas next year.

The series, created by Scot Armstrong (Old School, The Hangover Part II), chronicles Clay as he tries to live his life while trapped in the skin of “The Diceman.” The series also stars Kevin Corrigan. Executive producers on the series are Armstrong, Sean Furst, Bryan Furst, Clay, Bruce Rubenstein, Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.
