TORONTO: The first season of Sensitive Skin, distributed internationally by Tricon Films & Television, has premiered exclusively in the U.S. on iTunes.

The series is available in the U.S. exclusively on iTunes by episode or by season, with a free episode having launched on November 13. The show stars Kim Cattrall of Sex and the City fame as Davina, a woman of a certain age who moves downtown to an ultra-modern condo with her husband Al (Don McKellar) in a conscious attempt to change their lives and begin again. In addition to her starring role, Cattrall executive produces, while McKellar directs and executive produces. Bob Martin (Michael: Tuesdays & Thursdays) serves as head writer and executive producer.

"I am so excited Sensitive Skin has found a home in the U.S. with iTunes,” said Cattrall. “I am so proud of this series, how hard we worked on it, and I know the audience will fall in love with Davina as I did.”

In addition to distributing Sensitive Skin globally, Tricon acts as executive producer on the series, which is produced by Rhombus Media in association with Baby Cow Productions, The Movie Network and Movie Central, in partnership with the Canada Media Fund (CMF) and Rogers Cable Network Fund.

Sensitive Skin has received an International Emmy nomination for best comedy. The series airs on The Movie Network and Movie Central in Canada.
