Scripps Networks Interactive’s Brooke Johnson to Retire

KNOXVILLE: Brooke Johnson, the president of Scripps Networks Interactive’s food lifestyle brands including Food Network and Cooking Channel, has decided to retire after more than 12 years with the company.

Johnson joined Food Network in 2003, overseeing the creation of programming franchises such as Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, Food Network Star and the Emmy nominated series Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Under her leadership, Food Network expanded into branded products, launching Food Network Magazine. Johnson has also overseen the expansion of the food category’s digital footprint through a series of apps and web offerings.
