Paramount Pictures Films to Stream for Free on Tubi TV

LOS ANGELES: Tubi TV, a free video streaming service in the U.S., has secured an agreement with Paramount Pictures to bring more than 50 classic feature films from the studio's library to the company's ad-supported video applications.

Films currently featured on Tubi TV include Top Gun, Basic Instinct, Total Recall, Star Trek: The Final Frontier, The Hunt for Red October, as well as recent releases from 2014 and 2013. Tubi TV's horror film collection includes the Friday the 13th series, Stephen King films and Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, among others.

Dina Vangelisti, the senior VP of domestic television licensing and distribution at Paramount Pictures, said: "We are pleased to be entering into this agreement, which will deliver many of the most popular and exciting movies in film history to Tubi TV's growing user base."

"We are bringing amazing films to what is already the largest catalogue of free streaming TV shows and movies," added Farhad Massoudi, the founder and CEO of adRise, Tubi TV's parent company.
