NEW YORK: Oxygen Media has five new projects on its development slate, in addition to the recent greenlighting of seven original series.

New to the development roster is Sister Witches (working title), which follows the lives of three sisters facing their 20s who are learning how to harness their powers as witches. Finding My Father (working title) focuses on women who grew up with no dads in their lives and follows as they go on a mission to find them. Aunt Nikki (working title) features Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander and her modern family, living with her five younger sisters and her 11 nieces and nephews on a ranch in rural Tennessee.

Also on the development slate is Love On the Line (working title), which gives hopeful romantics the chance to break away from online dating and meet that suitor in person. Wantrepreneur (working title) comes from FremantleMedia North America. The project shines a light on young self-made moguls who are turning their hobbies into legitimate businesses.

“Oxygen is focused on developing and launching unique, original programming targeting today’s young, modern woman,” said Cori Abraham, the senior VP of development and international at Oxygen Media. “This development slate embraces the network’s new programming direction and allows us to explore fresh territories filled with bold characters and high emotional stakes.”
